Preschool Story Time continues Monday morning 10 - 11 am.

Opportunity to Volunteer - The Hollis Center Library Association has the following position available:
The Board meets 6 times a year. The annual meeting takes place in April.
If you would like more information please speak to the Library Director or current board members.

Download Audiobooks and eBooks 
at the Hollis Center Library website by using your Hollis Center library card. Click the icon and follow the directions.
Browse, check out and download digital media with your library card. The collection is available anytime, anywhere.
Listen to listen to titles on your PC, transfer to supported devises or burn some titles to CD. New books will be added each month! We have joined a consortium
of over 100 libraries in Maine to make this available to our patrons.

2 free passes to the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in Boothbay, Maine are available at the Hollis Center Library. FMI on the Gardens: www.MaineGardens.org Reserve a pass at the Hollis Center Public Library.

Book Donations  are always appreciated anytime during the year. We welcome current best seller donations.

Computer cartridges and cell phones are collected year around for the Buxton Garden Club.
Money raised will support a scholarship for a Bonny Eagle High School Senior.

DVD collection  is expanding. Currently there are 445 DVD's and 301 VHS tapes.  DVD donations welcome - family viewing.

Kill A Watt Energy Detector available for check out. Plug it at your home in and find out exactly
how much electricity each device is using.

Portland Public Library cards may be obtained, FREE, at the Hollis Center Library to those living in
York and Cumberland County. The card card allows you to check materials out at the Portland Public Library and
use their online resources. Complete the simple application and provide a current photo ID.

Preschool Story Time  schedule is at the Hollis Center Library website. Fingerplays and songs are also listed.

WiFi  (wireless)  available for your laptop  --  inside the library and from the parking lot!

Volunteers:  Thank you to the volunteers who file, process books and work on special projects. Your work is greatly appreciated.
A Trustee position is available. The Board of Trustees has 6 current members and one more is needed. The position of President of the Hollis Center Library Association is available.

Bake, Book & Rummage Sale - Saturday, October 2, - We need volunteers to help set up Friday, October 1, 4ish - 6ish to organize and price. We need someone to loan a truck so a trip can be made from a local house that stores the books for the sale to the library. We need people to work at the Sale and to clean up afterward. At that time we need a truck to take a loan of goods to the transfer station.
