The library is now a wireless hotspot! Bring in your laptop and use our high speed internet connection.
Please read the library Internet Acceptable Use
Policy.

Ways You Can Help:

1.  Bring used computer cartridges and cell phones to the library. We are a collection location for the Buxton Garden Club. Money raised will support the Horticultural scholarship for a BEHS Senior. Cartridges and cell phones will be collected all year.

2. We are accepting donations of books year around.

The following can not be accepted:  encyclopedias,  Reader's Digest Condensed Books, books that have a musty or smokey smell.

We are sharing some of the donated books with the York County Jail. They are particularly looking for current fiction books and magazines.

3. The Hollis Center Library is starting an audio collection. We welcome donations on cassette tape and/or CD's of fiction or nonfiction books.

Volunteers needed!

Please call the library (929-3911) if you can help with the projects listed below.

     1.  UPC stickers, pockets and cards, and Hollis Center Library stickers need to be placed in books.

     2.  When books are processed, they need to be placed in their proper place on the shelf.

The hallway to the Children's Room needs to be painted. We'll furnish supplies for the project. Bring a friend and have some fun.
